Tim O’Bayley is a San Francisco native who re-located to Palm Springs in 1998. With a background in public relations and graphic design and a history of working with non-profit organizations, it was a natural evolution that his firm, O’Bayley Communications, would gravitate toward serving the non-profit community.He launched O’Bayley Communications in February 2004 and serves as CEO and Creative Director. A past President of the local chapter of the American Advertising Federation, Tim is proud of the work his team does for clients such as AAP-Food Samaritans, Modernism Week, College of the Desert Foundation, the Indio Chamber of Commerce, Coyote StageWorks, Braille Institute Rancho Mirage, Destination PSP, and H3K Design, among others.
Bob Bogard, Director of Public Relations, has morethan twenty years of public relations and marketing experience. A native of Wisconsin, he began his marketing
career in New York where he worked for the Hudson Stone Group, an investor relations agency, and Connors Communications, a consumer public relations agency that specializes in technology, education and nonprofit companies. Bogard opened up the San Francisco branch of Connors Communications and later joined Access Communications, a subsidiary of Weber Shandwick, one of the world’s leading global public relations firms with offices in major media, business and government capitals around the world. Bogard later served as the Marketing Director at Geoworks, a San Francisco Bay Area telecommunications company, and then moved to Palm Springs where he worked for the Palm Springs Chamber of Commerce, and was the Marketing Director at both the Palm Springs Art Museum and Palm Springs Life. He has served on the boards of numerous Coachella Valley organizations and in June 2010 he was awarded with the “Lloyd Maryanov Employee of the Year” award by the Palm Springs Chamber of Commerce. In June, 2011, he was awarded the “Tourism Partner of the Year” award from the Palm Springs Bureau of Tourism.
Liz Bucio joined the team in January of 2017.
Liz brings to our team a rich background in advertising coordination and digital marketing. Her marketing experience and fantastic can-do attitude will benefit every O’Bayley Communications client. She has more than 6 years of comprehensive marketing experience, including classic and digital. She has served as an Account Coordinator and Account Executive for other advertising agencies in the Greater Palm Springs area. Liz is also a part of Desert Code, an organization dedicated to advancing the careers of women in the tech field.
Jeffrey Price, Graphic Designer,
is an Emmy©award-winning creative professional with extensive experience in the launching, branding, marketing, and advertising of motion pictures and television series. His focus is on building and leading teams, creating quality design, and developing memorable campaigns. He has worked as Print/Advertising Creative Director for the CBS Network, and Art Director for NBC. Other clients include Disney, 20th Century Fox, Warner Bros., Paramount, and Sony. He is an honors graduate from The Art Institute of Pittsburgh with a degree in Visual Communications.
Tim O’Bayley, Principal, has more than thirty years of experience in creative and technical writing, marketing communications, graphic design, and public relations, from the smallest non-profits to the largest corporate entities in the world. As a desert resident since 1998, he knows how to get things done here.
When appropriate, we collaborate with the best of the best to deliver for our clients. This includes a roster of extremely talented photographers, printers, web designers, event producers, and other vendors. We also collaborate and partner with publicists in Los Angeles and New York.
